Service for World Class Schools

Digital Innovation

  • The R14 Service Station is our Makerspace that is able to accommodate up to 20 students through a variety of engaging, hands-on, and interactive learning experiences with focuses on STEM/STEAM learning, critical thinking, computational thinking, creativity, communication, and the engineering design process.

We design each experience to meet the learning and content needs of the students by enhancing what they are doing in the classroom and connecting it to real-world applications.

Contact us, reserve a visit, checkout a classroom resource, or book us to provide this experience on your campus!

  • Each month we meet with integration and technology leaders across R14 to "dig-in" to the following supported topics:

    • CLASSROOM TRENDS
    • GOOGLE UPDATES
    • LATESTINSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES
    • CAMPUS INSIGHTS, NEEDS, DISCOVERIES, AND SUPPORT

Do you have someone in your district who needs to be included?
Email Hilary Miller (hmiller@esc14.net) to get them added to the invite.

  • Did you know that if you are a Region 14 ESC DEX Subscriber, we provide free training to your school or district?

The training can be a simple overview in a faculty meeting, to a much longer hands on session depending on needs. We are also able to come to a school and just talk to teachers and answer questions during their planning periods. Training days do fill up so please let us know how we can help you.

Contact Ashley Parker or Hilary Miller for Discovery Education support, training, or to inquire about licenses through our parternship program.

  • Gearbox is our robotics support group for coaches in Region 14 looking to build their professional network with other robotics teachers. We plan events, discuss competitions, assist with equipment, and can help any interested "gearheads" get started with VEX competitions. Contact Luke Hurst to be added to the group to receive information or support in robotics.

  • RAIDE is our Regional Assistance In Developing Esports. We work with districts across Region 14 to support, provide technical assistance, host events, and work with industry and higher education partners in all things Esports. Contact Hilary Miller for more information or assistance.

  • Interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) learning in the classroom or need assistance connecting your content to STEM? We have a multitude of services and expertise that can bring those real-world connections to the classroom and beyond. Contact us for more information or be sure to visit our other pages.
