TASBO COVID - 19 Forum

TASBO has created a community in our open forum that you can use to find out how other districts are handling business operations during the virus. Members are sharing a host of information there on topics including meal service and school closure, paying staff during closure, accounting for COVID-19 expenses in the event that reimbursement funds become available and much more. We have opened participation to all TASBO members. We have set the community to "digest" so that you only get emails once a day as this community is very active. You can check back online in real time to see the latest information being shared.

Potential for CAD Delays

We are hearing from a number of appraisal districts that there may be delays in certified values this year as they work through how to handle protests given the need for reduced person-to-person contact. If you havent done so yet, this might be a god time to reach out to your CAD to find out where they are in the process of setting values for next year.

Child Nutrition

The Texas Department of Agriculture has announced a webinar for today at 1:00 realted to serving meals during school closure. You can find information on how to access that webinar here.
