The Center for Young Learners (CYL) serves all preschool children in the Region 14 ESC area.  CYL includes Head Start/Early Head Start, Preschool programs for Children with Disabilities (PPCD), and School Readiness.

The PPCD program serves 3 and 4 year old children with disabliities in all 43 school districts of the region.

Head Start is a federally funded program serving economically disadvantage children birth through five-year-old chidren and famiies.  Our Head Start classrooms are on local school district  campuses in the following towns: Albany, Anson, Breckenridge, Colorado City, Hamlin, Haskel, Merkel, Rotan, Stamford, and Sweetwater.

We also serve chidren birth through 3 in our Early Head Start in Sweetwater.

In addition, Region 14 ESC Head Start operates a home-based program in Rule, Rochester, Haskell, and Stamford.
