Educator Certification
Region 14 ESC has the capability to process emergency permits online with the State Board for Educator Certification. Permission must be granted to Region 14 ESC to perform this service. Information related to certification requirements for the proper assignment of personnel is available to school administrators, teachers, and other interested persons. In addition, information related to venues to achieve certification is available for degreed, non-certified persons who wish to become teachers. Teachers wanting to add certification by examination may do so by registering online. An e-mail address and valid credit card are necessary. To register online, logon here.

A Master's degree in education is also available in conjunction with Sul Ross University with counselor and principal certification.
Attention All Military Retirees!!!
The Troops to Teachers eligibility criteria have been broadened to include all military retirees regardless of when you retired or if you have already been certified and are now teaching. There may still be some $$$$$ available for YOU!
