Welcome to the Quality Management System for Region 14
Region 14 Education Service Center, Abilene, Texas
Building upon management and operational practices in place, Region 14 ESC implemented an effective Quality Management System that consistently provides services that meets customer (school districts) requirements and applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., Texas Education Agency, No Child Left Behind). The key to the success of Region 14 is the dedicated personnel who perform their job each day to support the educational community. Region 14 ESC’s staff is committed to improving the performance of the educational community that ensures excellence, equity and efficiency in meeting customer requirements.
Critical center-wide and component processes are now documented in procedures, forms, program portfolios, plans, and other documents to ensure consistency.
Internal audits conducted by Region 14 personnel help identify any gaps in the Quality Management System.
The Quality Management System Administrative Team meets as needed to review documents such as the Quality Manual, Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, audit results, corrective action, preventive action, procedures, forms, and plans. Preventive Action or Corrective Action is taken as appropriate to ensure processes are meeting customers’ needs. The Quality Management System Team continually evaluates Region 14’s QMS compliance with its own Quality Management System requirements.
